MSI revealing new laptops at CES 2011, including 'fastest notebook' on Earth

Almost everyone in the tech world is gearing up for CES 2011 this January, and MSI is no exception. The computer maker has just announced plans to debut many new laptops at the trade show next month.
Not exactly earth shattering news, but it’s still nice to have something to look forward to. The best of the bunch is the GT680, already being touted by MSI as the “fastest notebook on the planet” with MSI’s Turbo Drive Engine+ technology. We’ll have to wait and see if that is truly the case, but it should be exciting to see soon.
Other big releases include new notebooks in the following categories:
  • G Series (Gaming)
  • F Series (”Ultimate performance” laptops; Includes latest Intel processors and THX TruStudio Pro)
  • C Series (”Stylish” multimedia laptops)
  • X-Slim Series (Ultra-thin, ultra-light laptops)
  • Wind U netbooks
  • WindPad tablets
The new generation of WindPad tablets will include Win-Tel and Android platforms, a G-Sensor gravity detecting device, an ALS light sensor, and Wi-Fi. They’ll also be “chic.”
